Reflecting on the journey behind the newly installed signage at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge
We’re proud to reflect on the journey behind the newly installed exterior signage at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge—a project that brought together precision planning, meticulous craftsmanship, and the collaborative spirit of everyone involved.
From the moment the refreshed branding was introduced, our team began a detailed planning phase, working closely with the hotel’s teams to review concepts, survey the site, and map out the most effective installation strategy for such a prominent London landmark. Positioned high above the main entrance on Level 16, facing Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, the location demanded careful logistical coordination and a robust engineering approach.
Over the past eight weeks, our specialists have taken the project from concept to completion, including:
● Removal of the previous signage
● Design and manufacture of a bespoke stainless-steel framework engineered to withstand long-term external elements
● Fabrication of premium face-illuminated letters and logo, built for durability and visual impact
● Application of high-performance vinyl across the glass frontage
Every component was crafted with longevity in mind, ensuring the signage continues to perform against the varied conditions of a busy cityscape while maintaining the refined aesthetic expected of a flagship hotel.
Installation required a combination of rope access, BMU cradle access, and mechanical lifting equipment, all executed under comprehensive RAMS to ensure safety at every stage. A protective scaffold crash deck allowed hotel operations to continue uninterrupted, ensuring guests experienced the same seamless arrival while work took place above.
This project was a true collaboration. Our project team worked hand-in-hand with the hotel’s operations team to coordinate timing, access, and safety considerations—resulting in a professional, high-quality finish that elevates the hotel’s refreshed brand identity.
A challenging site, a stunning location, and a rewarding outcome.
